A very interesting tournament took place in a nice and modern hall in Frýdek-Místek. Already the first day of play offered results that had a significant impact on the final standings of the tournament.

At first, NH Ostrava was not enough against Airteam Walbrzych and lost in their opening game by 16 points. Subsequently, NH Ostrava won all matches with a difference of more than twenty points. The home team Basketpoint entered the tournament very energetically, first defeating the weakened Potsdam by a higher margin and then showing probably their best performance in the tournament, where they defeated Walbrzych by 11 points in a very handsome match.

The dark horse of the tournament turned out to be the AK Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski team, which was not far from winning over the home team from Frýdek-Místek on Saturday. On Sunday, he could completely mix up the order, when he kept up with the future winner from Walbrzych until the last minutes.

Even the match for fifth place offered a little drama, where the already mentioned weakened team Academy Potsdam led by two digits over BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice for three quarters. Unfortunately for them, he couldn't keep up with the pace of the game in a rotation of only eight players, and ended up losing in the end by 4 points.

The order on the podium was determined only by the result of the last match between Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek and Academy NH Ostrava . Frýdek-Místek needed to win the match to win the tournament, in the case of NH Ostrava it was necessary to win by 23 points for the gold medals.

NH Ostrava entered the match aggressively, having already built a double-digit lead in the first quarter. In the rest of the game, her lead fluctuated around a twenty-point difference and several times it even reached the desired difference of 23 points. At the end of the match, Frýdek-Místek mobilized all his strength and the match ended with a difference of 19 points.

A proverb says: "when two fight, the third laughs" is absolutely true here. Thanks to the mini table, Górnik Airteam Walbrzych becomes the winner of the tournament.

The winning of silver and bronze was decided in the last match on Saturday between BBA Komárno and Sokol Dubeč . After a big drama, the Slovak team, led mainly by the best scorer of the tournament, Slugen, rejoiced in the end.

The ranking just below the podium was determined only by the final match of the tournament, in which the home academy dealt with JBN boys and thus took fourth place ahead of their Czech opponent.

In the end, the second Slovakian team ŠBK Handlová finished without a victory.

We had to wait for the final tournament of this season until the end of May, when the final of the oldest U17 category took place in Jena, Germany, in which, in addition to the home team, teams from the Czech Republic and Poland also participated.

The fact that the two highest-ranked Polish teams UKS SP 27 Katowice and WKK Wroclaw took third place in their basic groups and instead of fighting in the playoffs "only" fought for 5th place is a testament to the great balance of the tournament and the individual participants. These matches were like night and day. While the players of WKK Wroclaw clearly won by 19 points on Saturday, the boys UKS SP 27 Katowice rallied in the rematch on Sunday, who were able to win by 20 points and were happy with the final 5th place in total by a single point.

Even the medal matches brought four big dramas, as evidenced by the results, when the difference between all these matches jumped to 4 points.

In the opening semi-final Sršni Písek lost their 17-point halftime lead over ORLEN Akademia BM Stal and ended up losing by a basket. The second semi-final also offered great drama and after winning by 4 points, the home players advanced to the final. At BK NH Ostrava , the Czech fight for bronze remained, in which Sršni Písek , who are the bronze medalists of all times, were a basket better.

In the fight for the gold, the home players Science City Jena led over ORLEN Akademia BM Stal for most of the match, but the Polish opponent did not give up and in the end even had a shot to win, which he did not convert, so the title remained at home.

This tournament offered really high quality and balanced matches and was a great culmination of this season.

Four teams from Poland and two from the Czech Republic participated in the final tournament in the U15 category. There was not too much drama in the basic group A and both teams from Wroclaw, i.e. WKK and Slask, advanced to the semi-finals.

Group B was much more balanced and all 3 teams had one win and one loss. So the total score had to be decided, and that eventually sent both Polish teams to the semi-finals.

The battle for 5th place was thus a purely Czech affair between BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice and BA Nymburk . In both matches, the players of Pardubice had the upper hand, who thus take 5th place.

In the first semi-final WKS Slask Wroclaw decided its progress over SKM Zastal Zielona Góra only in the final quarter and became the first finalist after a seven-point victory. The second semi-final between the home team WKK Wroclaw and Korona 1919 Krakow was balanced only in the first half, and in the second half the boys from Krakow had the upper hand, becoming the second finalist.

In the battle for bronze, the home players clearly dominated, and after a big win over SKM Zastal Zielona Góra they take at least third place. The final match brought great drama, which ultimately had to be decided by overtime. chlapci WKS Slask Wroclaw were also two points happier in it, who are rejoicing in this year's overall triumph.

Four teams from Poland and two from the Czech Republic participated in the final tournament in the U14 category. The boys BK NH Ostrava came to Poland as the main favourites, who could not find a winner in the regular season and the same was true in the final. They ended the season with a record of 18 wins and 0 losses. This shows that this year's title is in the right hands.

The second place is taken by the players PGE Spójnia Stargard , who were not enough to win in the final. But they managed the key match in the semi-finals when, after a great drama, they overpowered WKK Wroclaw only after extra time. However, WKK Wroclaw made up for it all in the fight for bronze, where they beat BCM Olomouc and also took medals.

In the fight between two teams that finished in third place in the basic groups and did not advance to the playoffs, two balanced matches took place. In the Polish match between NBA Jelenia Góra and the host club BC Swiss Krono Žary both teams enjoyed one win, but 5 points in the score difference ended up playing in favor of NBA Jelenia Góra .

In the opening match, the boys from BK NH Ostrava surprised the players from Lučenec, who scored a valuable and somewhat unexpected clear victory. But this defeat rather lured Lučenec and in the remaining three matches there were three wins. On Saturday, the later winners were able to beat even strong Polish teams, which are above them in the overall table.

And it was the match between these two teams from Poland that concluded the entire tournament and was also a direct fight for second place. In the end, the players UKS SP 27 Katowice were happy with the victory, as they overpowered WKK Wroclaw in a dramatic and balanced match.

BK NH Ostrava finished just below the podium, which managed to beat first team Lučenec, but left defeated in all matches against Polish teams.

Without winning the tournament, the players Slávia Trnava leave for Slovakia.

The small drawback of this tournament was that, after some planned participants deregistered, it took place in only 4 teams, so everyone had three competitive matches and one extra bonus, but already off the table.

The Polish team WKS Slask Wroclaw went through the tournament with complete control, clearly dominating all their matches by a large margin. Even more drama took place on the next rungs, when the remaining three rivals managed to beat each other and their mutual scores were the deciding factor. Thanks to this, another Polish team Basket Team Suchy Las took second place, and the bronze went to the host club Levharti Chomutov . With the same balance of wins and losses as the silver team, but without a medal, the boys Královští Sokoli Hradec Králové finished.

The six best teams after the regular season competed in the final tournament in Krakow, respectively the best five and their host club. In the end, he proved to be the dark horse of the tournament when he ran out for a somewhat unexpected bronze medal.

The participants were divided into two groups of three teams, from which the best two advanced to the semi-finals. The winner of the regular season WKK Wroclaw arrived at the final without several supports and this played a key role. First, on Friday, after a big drama, WKK lost by 3 points to the later finalists Válečníci Děčín . On Saturday, he also lost to the home team, leaving him with only the fight for 5th place.

In the second group, the third place was left for another Polish team ORLEN Akademia BM Stal , who in the end clearly had the upper hand over WKK in the battle for 5th place.

One of the main favorites BK Inter Bratislava , which did not hesitate even in the duel with the home team, and was looking forward to its opponent in the fight for the gold, advanced to the semi-finals. Even the second semi-final did not offer too much drama, and after the progress of Děčín, the spectators could look forward to the Czech-Slovak final.

On the contrary, a purely Polish fight brought a match for bronze between the home boys from Korona 1919 Krakow and Górnik Airteam Walbrzych . This duel brought great drama until the last seconds and in the end the players of the host club were one point happier.

The finals started better Válečníci Děčín , who led the entire first quarter, but from the second half the players BK Inter Bratislava began to have the upper hand, gradually increasing their lead to 30 points and finally finishing in peace for the overall triumph in this year's competition.

Five teams from three countries gathered for the penultimate tournament of the U15 category in Pardubice, which was dominated by the home players without defeat. Sršni Písek played the most even result with them in the opening match of the tournament. However, in the match for silver, they lost to SKM Zastal Zielona Góra in great drama by a single point.

Perhaps the biggest drama was seen in the fight for 4th place. The German team Oberpfalz Hunters led by 22 points after three quarters, but the game still went to overtime. In it, on the other hand Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek players took an 11-point lead, but even that was not enough and with a powerful finish in the last two minutes they decided on a one-point win Hunters .
