On Saturday, the program began with an imaginary duel for first place between the home team and Jena. The German team gradually blunted the home team's attacks and drives, and with German patience and precision, built a lead in the score, which eventually grew to fourteen points. A very good match was played by the Sokol Pražský team against the Polish team WKS Slask Wroclaw . The Czech team led by a double-digit margin almost throughout the match and only at the end of the match did Slask allow a slight correction of the score. In the first match of the tournament, the home team BK Pezinok led the Polish team Lublinianka KUL Basketball for three quarters. In the last quarter, the home team led by nine points, but in the end, after a complete collapse, they managed to lose by ten points. In the second match, the Slovak team Dynamo Bratislava changed the path of the German team ESV Ingolstadt Ringsee throughout the tournament. Ingolstadt was slightly ahead after the first quarter, but unfortunately, in the second quarter, one of their leaders was seriously injured, so an ambulance had to intervene for the first time and unfortunately not the last time in the tournament. This completely changed the atmosphere of the match and it was basically just a play-off, even though both teams tried to play, it still affected the events on the court. In the third match of the day, the Czech team Academy NH Ostrava failed to play its role as a favorite against the Polish team Basket 4kids Zielona Góra . Even though the Czech team arrived quite incomplete, expectations were high. On the other hand, this does not diminish the quality performance of the Polish team. This was the first match that had a significant impact on the medal standings. In the afternoon program, the home team put in a great performance against 4kids, leading by six points after three quarters. Unfortunately, the fourth quarter came again and, due to a short period when concentration dropped, they managed to lose the match by eight points.

On Saturday, the main role was played by the Slovak team Dynamo Bratislava , which first lost to Ostrava, which performed great, just as we usually know it. However, in the afternoon program, Dynamo showed itself in a much better light, when throughout the game it was a better team than the Polish team Basket 4kids Zielona Góra . These next two games decided the ranking for first to third place. The home team finally breathed a sigh of relief after winning over Ingolstadt, which was completely decimated by injuries, and which almost no longer has enough fingers to count the injured. The home team also played a decent game against Ostrava, but it was not enough to win.

Sunday was already calm, both in terms of the number of injuries and the surprises in the results. The favorites confirm their medal ambitions quite easily. It is also worth thanking, because Mr. rescuer Marcel had an unprecedented amount of work. Photographers bring you interesting and high-quality photos. The third match also brought no dramas, as the German team Academy Potsdam easily defeated the Slovak team BSC Bratislava .

On Saturday, Válečníci Děčín will play a balanced match. First, it is a defensive duel with WKK, when they are losing at first, but after the third quarter the score is almost even. In the end, however, the Polish team WKK "scrams" to victory. In the second match with BSC, more attractive basketball is played, but here too the Czech team fails to win. The day closes with a duel for first place between the home team and Potsdam. Potsdam keeps the home team at a fairly solid distance in the score for three quarters. In the last quarter, the home team tried to defy fate, but the well-playing Potsdam does not allow it to make more than a slight correction to the score.

On Sunday, Basketpoint calmly defeated BSC and won the bronze medal. Potsdam also did not spare WKK in the second match and calmly confirmed the victory of the tournament. In the first match of the tournament, the eventual winner, the German team NINERS Chemnitz Academy did not give the Slovak team Strojár Malacky a chance to think about winning. In the second match, the Polish team AK Orly Wroclaw was not enough for the Czech team Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek , although this match was much more even than the first match of the day. In the last match of the first round of the tournament, the Polish team NEFROMEDICA UKS SP27 Katovice was not enough for another Polish team Oknoplast Inter-Bud Kraków . The most even match came at the end of Friday's program, where Katowice defeated Wroclaw by a single point.

On Saturday, the most tension was in the morning matches. First, Chemnitz lost to Krakow for three quarters, but finally won by thirteen points. In the second match, Frýdek-Místek resisted Katowice in vain and lost by eight points. The next match of the day ended with a higher margin.

Dramata prepared the tournament for Sunday's program. Frýdek - Místek won in overtime by just one point after a very even match with Krakow, and even that did not help them to overtake their opponent in the overall tournament table. Oknoplast Inter-Bud Kraków won the silver medals and Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek won the bronze medals. The second match was also very even, Malacky was not enough for Katowice in the end and neither team had medals left. And a good portion of basketball ended the tournament. In this match between NINERS Chemnitz Academy and AK Orly Wroclaw the decision had to be made only in the second overtime, which was better handled by the German team led by their leader Kaio Dellingem , who also became the best scorer of the tournament together with Krakow's player Dawidem Parzochem . The participation of our MVP of the tournament brought another benefit, as some of the matches of the tournament were photographed by his sister Pelagia Delling, who was the same age. Which is a great feat and highlights how our CEYBL community connects.

In the first match of the day, which took place in snowy Krakow, the home team KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków challenged the Austrian opponent BBLZ - Reach the Top to a duel. The first quarter was somewhat "frozen" - how else to call it? The score was 8:6 for the home team, then Krakow warmed up better, gaining a double-digit lead by half the match. They then increased their lead and won comfortably. In the second match, the home team again took part, which was unusual, as the team from Opole had problems with transportation to the match venue. The home team therefore willingly helped, which almost paid off in the match with the Slovak team MBA Prievidza . The fresh Slovak opponent really put the home team under pressure and Krakow's fatigue accumulated even more. In the end, however, the home team managed to squeeze out the closest possible win by a single point at the end of the fourth quarter and was incredibly happy about it. It is also worth mentioning that Prievidza had the last shot at their disposal, which was not taken. In the afternoon program, the Polish team AK Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski played an even match with the Austrian academy BBLZ, which is based in the town of Klosterneuburg near Vienna, dominated by Klosterneuburské opatství , which you cannot miss when arriving from Vienna. The lead changed hands throughout the match, and at the end of the match, the Polish team was in a better mood thanks to a four-point lead. It is worth noting that the Austrian team arrived at the tournament with only a limited rotation of players, due to health complications. After all, the "cold" is an almost fatal disease for men. The last match of the day also brought great drama, it is not often that you lose this match when you hold your opponent to thirty-nine points. This was successful for the "Hornets", as they scored only thirty-seven points, probably the freezing Krakow didn't suit them that much and they would have been better off in the nest :-).

The entire Saturday program took place in a calm mode and the favorites confirmed their positions.

On Sunday, Sršní first defeats BBLZ, but they are not yet sure of a medal. They have to wait for the result of the match between Ostrów and Prievidza. If the Polish team had won, it would have pushed Sršní out of the medal positions. However, that did not happen. Prievidza thus confirms the silver medal. Písek can thus rejoice in the bronze on the way home. In the last match of the tournament, the home team calmly dealt with Opole and thus confirmed the gold medal win.

In the opening match, the Polish team AK Orly Wroclaw did not mess around with the home team Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek at all and awarded them an unpopular hundred. And that also fell in the second match of the day, when the Slovak team BK Inter Bratislava presented the Polish team Imopeksis Wilki Wrocław with a hundred. A little "calm" came only in the match between Jížní Supi team and Lublinianka KUL Basketball team. The Supi still managed to bounce back at a leisurely pace to win by more than twenty-five points. There was no shortage of wild results in the afternoon program and the hundred-point mark was again crossed twice.

On Saturday, there was also a tie, and one of them had to be decided by overtime. The Polish teams Lublinianka and Wilky fought with great vigor, the lead in the match alternated, and after forty minutes the score was even, so overtime had to be decided. The Lublinianka team won by the closest possible margin of just one point. As it turned out later, it was a fight for fifth place, but even that brought great basketball. The day was closed by the home team's fight with Jížní Supi team. Here, too, it was a real mess. The home team probably showed its best performance of the tournament and really troubled the future silver medalist.

On Sunday, Inter defended their victory at a leisurely pace and thus won the bronze medals in the first match of the day. The second match was an imaginary final of the tournament between the Czech team Jížní Supi and the Polish team AK Orly Wroclaw . The Czech team showed a solid performance, being the only one not to receive more than 100 points from the Orly, but it was not enough for a win. They may have also lacked the strength from the difficult evening match with the home team. And that concludes the tournament in a duel with the Polish team Imopeksis Wilki Wrocław . Here it was clear after the first quarter who was the "home" master and only one point was missing from the hundred-point mark.

It is not often in our tournament rankings to mention individual players, but when someone maintains an average of 37.6 points per game in a tournament over five games, it is worth mentioning. So that player was Adam Garaj from BK Inter Bratislava, a truly respectable performance. It must also be said that there were three other scorers in this tournament who averaged more than 20 points per game. In the second match, WKK gave the German team SC Weende 130 "gifts" and thus confirmed the silver medal. In the last match of the tournament, Chemnitz won a big victory over the home team and confirmed the gold medal. The first match of the tournament was a Slovak derby between the home team ŠBK Galaxy Košice and the BKM Iskra Svit team. The home team defended its title in a relatively calm match. In the second match, we could watch the Czech-Polish duel, when the teams Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek and TS Wisla Jura Basket are presenting themselves for the first time in the tournament. It should be mentioned that the Czech team fared better and won comfortably. The last match of the first round, as it turned out later, was a direct duel for first place between the Polish team Lublinianka KUL Basketball and the Austrian team Vienna Timberwolves . And in this case, "Wiener Schnitzel" surpassed "Źurek", but it was probably not only due to the proximity of the Christmas holidays. On Friday, Svit played a solid game with Vienna, which they did not let breathe throughout the match, but it was not enough to win.

On Saturday morning, Svit had to pull out all the stops against Basketpoint, which, due to circumstances, arrived at the tournament with a combined younger team. The fierce youth of the Czech team overwhelmed both Svit and the tournament favorites from Vienna and Lublinianka. They usually only have enough strength for the first half of the match, so it was not enough to win against these teams. The most interesting match of Saturday was the last one. The home team and Lublinianka play a match full of emotions, fighting situations, and great individual performances. However, Košice misses some key shots in the end and their disappointment in the loss is more than evident.

On Sunday, Vienna defeated the enthusiastically fighting Frýdek-Místek and confirmed the gold medals. Svit had a great effort to "avenge" their Slovak brothers from Košice in a duel with Lublinianka, which they ultimately failed to do and the Polish team won silver medals. And the home team overcame Saturday's disappointment in the last match of the tournament and came away with a clear victory and thus bronze medals in a duel with the Polish team TS Wisla Jura Basket .

On the pitch, a battle, but in the background, a pleasant family atmosphere, which is taken care of by parents and volunteers of the home club.
