BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice is the clear winner of the U12 tournament
BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice is the clear winner of the U12 tournament
On Friday's program, the home team BC Swiss Krono Žary lost twice significantly, the first time to Inter, the second time in the match with Beska. The Slovak team BK Inter Bratislava played a very even match with the Polish team NEFROMEDICA UKS SP27 Katovice . The match offered a very low score on both sides, making every basket scored all the more important. In the end, the Polish team had more strength and won by four points. Another match between the Polish team WKK Wroclaw and the Czech team Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek was also tied. In this match, there was more joy on the Czech side, as Basketpoint won by two points.
Saturday was Katowice's day. They first struggled to win over the home team, who were a balanced opponent for Katowice throughout the match. In the second match, Katowice were not so lucky and another Polish team, WKK, defeated them by four points.
Pardubice's "Beksa" aka BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice sailed through the tournament without hesitation. None of the teams came close to scoring less than twenty points, and considering that most of the matches in this tournament ended with a relatively low score, the difference was absolutely crucial. On Sunday, they will clearly defeat Katowice and win well-deserved gold medals. Basketpoint will win over Inter on Sunday's program, and even that did not secure them a place in the medal positions due to the worse score from the mutual matches with Katowice and WKK. WKK won bronze only in the last match of the tournament, when they defeated the home team. However, it should be mentioned that at least the first half of the match was a worse team.
Final tournament standings:
1. BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice (Czech Republic)
2. NEFROMEDICA UKS SP27 Katovice (Poland)

BK Inter Bratislava wins the U15 tournament
BK Inter Bratislava wins the U15 tournament
At the CEYBL base in Brandýs nad Labem, the first match was played by the Polish team Lublinianka KUL Basketball against the Czech team Jížní Supi . The Czech team fared better in this match. The second match was also a Czech-Polish match. It was between the teams Válečníci Děčín and BC Swiss Krono Žary . The Polish team fared better in this match, so it could be said that the Czech-Polish duel is currently at 1:1. The last match of the first round was a duel between the Slovak team BK Inter Bratislava and the German team Academy Potsdam . Inter did not "mess around" with it at all and it was practically decided after the first half of the match. On Friday, the Válečníci also played their best match, as they played a nice basketball game with Inter, and even though they were losing by twenty points, the match left a pleasant basketball impression.
On Saturday morning, Potsdam was surprised by the Polish team from the city of Žary. One could say that they literally destroyed them. Probably no one expected such a clear course and result of the match after Friday's results. In any case, a well-played match with excellent energy from the German team. However, they probably gave too much energy in this duel, because in the afternoon match with the Warriors they lacked energy for most of the match. The Warriors played this match great. They were basically in a double-digit lead throughout the match, in the end Potsdam came within striking distance, and in the end the Czech team defended the victory by three points. In the last match of the day, Žary showed themselves in a better light, when they won over the Czech team Jížní Supi , mainly thanks to the performance of the Polish representative Filip Wilko.
On Sunday, Potsdam defeats Lublinianka, who was the better team for at least half of the match. In the second match, Inter, in complete peace of mind, wins over Žary, thus confirming their gold medal win. The last match was ultimately a fight for third place in the tournament. The Supi had no mercy on the Warriors. The Warriors, already weakened by several injured players, do not put up much resistance, and the Southern Supi literally "throw and tear" as befits and belongs to the Southern Supi. The team from the southern tip of Prague wins the bronze medals.
Final tournament standings:
1. BK Inter Bratislava (Slovakia)
2. BC Swiss Krono Žary (Poland)
3. Jížní Supi (Czech Republic)

Akdemie Grand Est wins the U15 tournament
Akdemie Grand Est wins the U15 tournament
In the first match of the tournament, the French team Akdemie Grand Est played against the Czech team BCM Olomouc . The Czech team did not perform convincingly and lost their first match of the tournament. In the second match, the German team Basketball Talents Potsdam challenged the Polish team MKS Strzelce Opolskie to a duel. Here too, the proceedings were quite calm and the Polish team won. Only the third match offered real drama. The actors of this match are the teams Young Rasta Dragons and Jura Basket TS Wisła . The tug-of-war for each ball was ultimately better handled by the German team, who won a hard-fought victory by two points. The afternoon offered only balanced and interesting matches. First, the French team was losing by 15 points after the first quarter to MKS Strzelce Opolskie team, who then maintained a nine-point lead at the end of the first half. The second half of the match was a completely different story. The French team showed a completely different performance and first tied after the third quarter, then won by thirteen points. In the next match, Olomouc showed a better side of its performance and held a draw with the German team Young Rasta Dragons at halftime. However, they made several mistakes in the second half of the match that cost them the victory. The Polish team Jura Basket TS Wisła had to fight hard for the victory over the German team Basketball Talents Potsdam . They eventually managed to win by twelve points.
On Saturday morning, we were treated to a surprise of the tournament, when MKS Strzelce Opolskie team "stepped on" the Young Rasta Dragons team. The Polish team, even with a limited rotation of the "seven braves", wins. We had the opportunity to watch a good dose of German precision in the afternoon program. A great match, where the Young Rasta Dragons team eventually won by three points. Olomouc also "puts its horns on St. Nicholas" when, mainly thanks to a good collective performance, it won by seven points over the Polish team MKS Strzelce Opolskie .
On Sunday, in the battle for first place, the French team "traditionally" slept through the first half of the match and gave up the lead to the German team Young Rasta Dragons . And also, as is traditional, in the second half of the match they turned on their engines for better performance and won the victory and thus the victory in the entire tournament. The Polish team Jura Basket TS Wisła managed the fourth place battle better, taking the victory by eight points. In the last match of the tournament, Olomouc defeated the German team from Potsdam and confirmed the bronze medals.
Final tournament standings:
1. Akdemie Grand Est (France)

SKM Zastal Zielona Góra wins the U12 tournament
SKM Zastal Zielona Góra wins the U12 tournament
The tournament started as usual with the home team SKM Zastal Zielona Góra , who challenged another Polish team UKS MOS Opole . And the home team entered the tournament in a "full field" and beat their opponent by a large margin. The second match was a "different coffee" when the Slovak team BSC Bratislava , who initially led slightly during the match, subsequently lost its lead and after the third quarter lost to the Polish team BC Swiss Krono Žary by nine points. However, the twists and turns were not over and BSC won by a difference of three points in the end. In the last match of the first round of the tournament in the duel of Czech teams Sršni Photomate Písek beat Academy NH Ostrava by a difference of almost twenty points. In its second match of the day, Zastal had to find a suitable "repellent" to ward off the annoying Sršňy. They "stinged" successfully throughout the first half of the match, but Zastal blunted the stings of the Sršňy in the second half of the match and won by six points. Ostrava fought back after a direct challenge from the Hornets and won over BSC.
On Saturday and partly on Sunday the results are quite clear and the teams aspiring for medal positions are successfully defending their positions. In the last match of the tournament Ostrava tried to reverse the position in the medal positions, when in the middle of the match the score was almost equal with the home team. However, the home team took the initiative in the second half and did not let the victory in the tournament be taken away. Ostrava "remains" with the bronze medals also thanks to the loss to Písek on the first day of the tournament. Písek therefore wins the silver medals.
Final tournament standings:
1. SKM Zastal Zielona Góra (Poland)
2. Sršni Photomate Písek (Czech Republic)

4. BSC Bratislava (Slovakia)

Academy NH Ostrava wins the U14 tournament
Academy NH Ostrava wins the U14 tournament
The tournament was opened by the home team KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków and its opponent was the German team Basketball Talents Potsdam . Korona entered the match actively and gained a double-digit lead in the first quarter. The rest of the match had a similar course and the home team recorded a quite comfortable win. On the other hand, the second match between the Czech teams Academy NH Ostrava and Start Havířov was very even. The teams know each other from the national competition and it is not easy for them to surprise the other team with something. Ostrava led by several points after the end of each quarter and they managed to do this even at the end of the match, where it was a five-point lead. The last to enter the tournament are the Polish team Górnik Airteam Walbrzych and the Slovak team BKM Iskra Svit . Two teams that have not yet had the joy of a win this year. Iskra entered the match better, leading by a double-digit difference after the first quarter. Subsequently, the game became more even and after the third quarter the Polish team got below the psychological limit of ten points difference in the score. In the end, Iskra won by three points in the end and was very happy about it. And Iskra once again recorded an interesting performance in the Friday program. In the match with the German Potsdam, they first led, then lost slightly, to take the match to overtime. Here, however, they ran out of strength and the German team Basketball Talents Potsdam won. Also worth mentioning is the match between Havířov and the home team. When Havířov, shortly after a difficult match with Ostrava, did not show a concentrated performance against the home team, which surprised them with active and aggressive play all over the field and thus won over them by a significant margin.
Saturday was not as attractive in terms of results as Friday. The favorites from the top three teams confirmed their positions and won comfortably.
On Sunday, Potsdam wins over Walbrzych. In the second match, Svit showed its heart when it breathed in a great performance against Havířov. Given its position in the table, Havířov probably expected a comfortable and calm match, which it did in the first half of the match. However, Svit entered the second half of the match completely "sprinkled with living water", hitting several heavy shots and coming within reach of the score of this match. Havířov seemed a little helpless at these moments. After the coach's half-time speech, the Czech team finally took everything into its own hands and won the match, confirming the bronze medals. In any case, praise to the Slovak team from Svit, because they showed what passion and heart they can fight with. The last match of the tournament was the final match between the home team and the team from Ostrava. This match was the highlight of the tournament. On one side, the home team, which is characterized by a very active defense all over the field, and on the other side, Ostrava, experienced and seasoned in international battles, led by its leader Tomáš Kamrád. And it was experience that was ultimately decisive. Ostrava coped with the active defense, managed to make quality passes and punish any mistake of the home team. Ostrava thus wins the gold medals
Final tournament standings:
1. Academy NH Ostrava (Czech Republic)
2. KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków (Poland)
3. Start Havířov (Czech Republic)

AK Ostrów 1947 wins the U17 tournament
AK Ostrów 1947 wins the U17 tournament
The first match of the tournament offered an interesting spectacle. The home team AK Ostrów 1947 played an interesting game with the Slovak team BKM Iskra Svit . The first quarter belonged to the Slovak team, then the home team took a slight lead, which eventually won by thirteen points in the end. In the second match, the Polish team KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków met another Polish team SKM Zastal Zielona Góra . Zastal would probably like to forget this "meeting" soon, because Krakow did not take any chances and defeated its rival by a difference of almost thirty points. On the other hand, the match between the German teams Science City Jena and Basketball Talents Potsdam brought real drama. The balanced and fighting performance of both teams was ultimately better handled by the team from Potsdam in the end, winning by only two points.
Saturday morning showed how thin the line is between success and failure. Krakow finished second in the final standings, Svit sixth, but in this match there was almost no difference between the teams. In the first quarter, Krakow gained an eight-point lead, then Svit recovered and was in the lead for the next two quarters. However, the last quarter belonged to the team from Krakow, who squeezed out a two-point win. In the afternoon program, Jena thoroughly tested the home team, having fought a perfectly even fight for three quarters, but thanks to the individual performance of player Igora Szlachetky , who scored 33 points, they ultimately lost by a margin of thirteen points.
On Sunday, Jena will defeat Svit. Potsdam, who played a balanced half with Krakow, but were definitely not happy with the final result, losing by a difference of thirty-five points. The tournament closes with the home team, who wins a controlled victory over Zastal and thanks to that also confirms the gold medal win.
Final tournament standings:
1. AK Ostrów 1947 (Poland)

GEN Gaz Energia Tarnovia Tarnowo Podgórne the winner of the U13 tournament
GEN Gaz Energia Tarnovia Tarnowo Podgórne the winner of the U13 tournament
The tournament was opened by the home team BK Lokomotiva Plzeň and its opponent was the Slovak team MBA Prievidza . The match was, as it usually is, more of a warm-up. Prievidza did not catch the approach of Plzeň in the first quarter, which also affected the rest of the match, when the Slovak team tries to reduce the sixteen-point deficit from the first quarter and, on the contrary, Plzeň controls this lead and gradually increases it only slightly. In the end, the home team won by thirty points. The second match had a very similar course, here the better team was the Polish team GEN Gaz Energia Tarnovia Tarnowo Podgórne . On the other hand, the early team Válečníci Děčín is only just acclimatizing along the way and is recording a loss by a difference of more than twenty points. And as they say, good and bad come in the third. The Polish team M KS Basket Szczawno Zdrój saw off the Austrian academy BBLZ - Reach the Top with a score of 93:44.
On Saturday, everything interesting happened in the afternoon. First, the home team Plzeň played a balanced match with the Polish team GEN Gaz Energia Tarnovia Tarnowo Podgórne . The first half of the match was very balanced and it seemed that the home team had a better flow. After the half-time break, however, the Polish team showed a better face and eventually won by seven points. The second interesting match also offered a Czech-Polish duel. Válečníci Děčín show what the strength of a "warrior" is, when after the first half of the match they have a six-point lead, but after the third quarter the Polish team is in the lead by seven points, so that in the end the Czech team won the victory by eight points. It was certainly a great spectacle for the spectators, but the information from the tournament is tactfully silent about how many hairs turned gray for the coaches.
On Sunday, the Polish team GEN Gaz Energia Tarnovia Tarnowo Podgórne leaves no doubt that it is going for victory in the tournament. This euphoria was carried away by the Slovak team MBA Prievidza . Prievidza suffered a heavy loss on the way home. Válečníci Děčín are also clearly pursuing their goal of winning bronze medals and will not give the Austrian academy from Klosterneuburg any hope of victory. The home team Plzeň has to fight hard for their positions with the Polish team M KS Basket Szczawno Zdrój . In the first half of the match, Plzeň struggles with the style of the Polish team and loses by a difference of four points. In the second half of the match, the home team adapted better and eventually won by a difference of thirteen points, confirming the silver medals.
Final tournament standings:
1. GEN Gaz Energia Tarnovia Tarnowo Podgórne (Poland)
2. BK Lokomotiva Plzeň (Czech Republic)
3. Válečníci Děčín (Czech Republic)
4. M KS Basket Szczawno Zdrój (Poland)

BK Opava wins the U15 tournament
In the first match of the tournament, the home team BK Brandýs nad Labem played a game with the Central Bohemian team CB Basketball . And it was the home team that led by almost twenty points at half time. In the end, the home team won by a difference of fifteen points. In the second match, the BK Opava team entered the tournament strongly, when they thoroughly defeated the Austrian team Vienna Timberwolves . Opava helped themselves mainly with team play, when five players recorded double-digit shooting performance. The last team to enter the tournament is the Polish team KS Korona 1919 RadwanSport Kraków . And the Polish team does not enter the tournament very happily, when they lose to the home team by eighteen points.
On Saturday, the home team first won over Vienna, but in the final match against Opava, the Moravian team's wider rotation was the deciding factor, as they comfortably won by twenty-seven points. Brandýs nad Labem thus confirmed their silver medal win.
On Sunday, Vienna, which had a poor tournament both in terms of games and results, lost to Krakow. In the last match, Opava defeated the Central Bohemian team and confirmed their gold medals. The bronze position was "left" at CB Basketball .

ŠBK Galaxy Košice wins the U17 tournament
ŠBK Galaxy Košice wins the U17 tournament
In the first game of the tournament, the home team Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek managed to beat another Czech team BK Sojky Pelhřimov , which is a newcomer to CEYBL tournaments. It was not a smooth victory, but in the end it was quite comfortable. In the second game, the eventual winner, the Slovak team ŠBK Galaxy Košice was no match for the Polish team PGE Giek Turów Zgorzelec . It was already clear after the first quarter who was the master on the court. Košice's lead grew during the game and stopped at a number fifty points higher than the Polish team had achieved.
On Saturday, the duel between Zgorzelec and Pelhřimov was interesting. It was played in the spirit of the "up, down" game. First, the Sojky take the lead, halfway through the game the game is almost even, after the third quarter Zgorzelec leads by three points, but in the end the Czech team wins by four points. The second interesting match was between Basketpoint and Košice, which was a duel for first place in the table before the medal matches. The home team did not succeed in this duel at all and in the end they lose by a difference of almost twenty points. However, the home team has a chance to retaliate on Sunday.
On Sunday we start with the match for third place in the tournament. Pelhřimov and Zgorzelec played here. The Sojka have a very bad start to the match and the difference after the first quarter is twenty points. In the middle of the match the difference is no longer so noticeable and the Czech team is soon closing in, which continues in the third quarter, when the difference fell below ten points, which is considered the psychological limit for returning to the match. In the end, the Sojka are unable to make a comeback and Zgorzelec avenge their defeat and win the bronze medals. A great match for first place closed this tournament. The home team showed a much better performance against Košice in the rematch of the group match. The match was extremely balanced and combative throughout. The Slovak team managed the ending better and won both the match by two points and the first place in the tournament.

Basket 4kids Zielona Góra wins the U16 tournament
Basket 4kids Zielona Góra wins the U16 tournament
In the first match of the tournament, the home team Basket 4kids Zielona Góra challenged the Ukrainian team SCC Ploskyriv to a duel. The Ukrainian team looked somewhat tired after the long journey and was already losing significantly in the score after the first quarter. The home team had a fairly easy path to its first victory in the tournament. MBK Karlovka Bratislava fought in the next match of the day with one of the highest quality youth programs in Poland PGE Spójnia Stargard . Karlovka did not shy away from the opponent and after the third quarter the difference in the score was only two points. Stargard's experience finally showed and, despite Karlovka's resistance, they won by ten points. In the last match of the first round, the Czech team Vlci Žďár nad Sázavou were comparable to the German precision of Academy Potsdam team until half of the match. In the second half of the match, they already found a recipe for defending the German team and won a comfortable victory. Friday afternoon offered more dramatic matches, as the home team had to fight hard for victory against Stargard, which they eventually succeeded in. The match between Ploskiryv and Ždár was also great to watch, with the Czech team rejoicing in victory.
Saturday morning offered a surprise right in the first match. After the break, the Ukrainian team "caught Stargard on the back foot", having been the better team throughout the match. Karlovka also proved that it is no coincidence that they are in the tournament when they played a really great game with the home team. The home team could not rest for a moment and constantly repelled the attacks of the Slovak team, which was fighting for victory. Although they did not succeed, they still left a positive impression of their game. The home team also had another dramatic match, this time against Ždár. The Wolves enter the match poorly, but halfway through the match, a promising result is shown on the scoreboard for the Czech team. After the third quarter, everything is different again and the Czech team loses twenty points. In the last quarter, the Czech team has a huge desire for victory, but in the end they lose by a difference of five points.
On Sunday, Ploskiryv won over a well-playing Karlovka and thanks to that they also get second place in the tournament due to a better mutual match with Stargard. Stargard defeated the Wolves in the Sunday match, disappointed with the loss to the home team, and thus won the bronze medals. The tournament is closed by the home team, which clearly confirms its victory in the home tournament against the German Potsdam.
