BK Lokomotiva Plzeň wins the U13 tournament

The tenth U13 tournament took place in a city famous for its beer all over the world. In case anyone wasn't sure, it was Pilsen. The home team had all their matches under control and deservedly won.

The opening match of the tournament was secured by the home team, who challenged the German team UBC Münster . After twelve hours on the train and a night's rest, the German team did not enter the match in the best mood. After half the match, they were losing by a double-digit margin and by the end of the match, they did not even come close to Lokomotiv. In the second match, Vlci Žďár nad Sázavou team challenged the BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice team. If we were to express the course of the match figuratively with the animals that both clubs have in their logos, the wolves properly bit the Pardubice thoroughbreds. The last match of the first round of the tournament took place between the teams Nitra Blue Wings Academy and Górnik Airteam Walbrzych . The Polish team gradually lost ground to the Blue Wings in the score and eventually won by a difference of twenty-three points. Friday also offered an interesting statistic, when two matches in a row ended with exactly the same score.

Saturday offered three very interesting matches. The first one was early in the morning, when Vlci Žďár nad Sázavou fought against the UBC Münster team. In this match, the lead was exchanged from side to side, first the Wolves were ahead, then Münster , after the third quarter the situation was practically even. Finally, the Wolves had more power in the end and won by a difference of six points. The second match, which brought an even course, was played by the home team against Nitra. The home team entered the match very actively and led by almost twenty points at halftime. In the third period, Lokomotiva expanded its rotation, there were more inaccuracies and thanks to only four points scored, Nitra came closer by a few points in the score. In the last part of the match, Plzeň controlled the lead and ultimately won by a difference of eleven points. The last match of Saturday's program offered really great mini-student basketball. The match had great parameters both on the pitch and in the stands, where fans of both camps create a great atmosphere. In the end, Lokomotiva used its experience and won by seven points at home. Górnik Airteam Walbrzych will have a chance to rematch at the home final tournament of this category.

On Sunday, Nitra will defeat Münster , who despite their great efforts could not get past the Slovak team. The Wolves from Žďár had a real desire to mix up the standings in second to fourth place, and so the Polish team Górnik Airteam Walbrzych encountered tough resistance. Žďár came out on top in the first half and the "locker room" was almost level. However, Górnik built a slight lead in the third quarter, which they maintained until the end of the game and won by a difference of twelve points. In the last game, Lokomotiva defeated Beksa at a leisurely pace, thus confirming victory in the tournament and advancement to the final tournament.

Final tournament standings:

1.  BK Lokomotiva Plzeň (Czech Republic)

2. Górnik Airteam Walbrzych (Poland)

PGE Spójnia Stargard wins the U17 tournament

Stargard secured a ticket to the final tournament in the eighth round of the U17 category with their victory. However, the Polish team did not have an easy road to the final tournament despite a 4-0 record.

The opening match of the tournament was a duel between the home team and the Polish team PGE Spójnia Stargard . The whole match was very even, in the first quarter the home team Jena dominated, building a slight lead. In the further course of the match, the Polish team took over the reins of the match and eventually won by six points. In the second match, the Polish team WKS Slask Wroclaw thoroughly beat the Czech team Královští Sokoli Hradec Králové, kdyby však jen tento ambiciózní polský tým tušil, že je to jeho vítězství na tomto turnaji poslední. In the third match, the last participant of this tournament was involved - the Polish team WKK Wroclaw , which is the organizer of the final tournament and has definitely shown an upward trend in its performances. Stargard, which was their opponent, had to pull out all its trump cards to win the desired victory.

Saturday brought many close matches, right up until the first match. The derby between the Wrocław teams was the most interesting. At first, Slask dominated, winning the first half with a ten-point cushion. In the second half, WKK turned on a higher performance level and thus won a narrow victory by four points.

Sunday offered only two matches, as the tournament had exceptionally only five participants. Hradec Králové played a decent game with WKK, which confirms the bronze medal. And in the last match of the tournament, the home team challenged the Polish WKS Slask Wroclaw . Jena, excited by its performances at the tournament, did not give the Polish team a chance to think about winning and with the win confirms the silver medal.

NINERS Chemnitz Academy wins the U17 tournament

$rc->blogDescription

NINERS Chemnitz Academy wins the U17 tournament

Chemnitz wins the seventh U17 tournament hosted by Ostrow Wielkopolski. The German team dominated the tournament with a match record of 5-0. It was definitely not an easy victory, at least the Slovak teams put up strong resistance to Chemnitz.

The home team challenged MBK Karlovka Bratislava in the first match of the tournament. The home team kept their opponents within striking distance in the first half. In the second half, Karlovka switched to a higher gear and dominated the match. The next match offered a duel between the newcomer in CEYBL tournaments, BC Gurjaani Delta team, who came from faraway Georgia, and their opponent was the Slovak team BKM Iskra Svit . Before the Georgian team could even look up, they were losing by a double-digit margin and Svit gave them a beating almost as high as Gerlachovský štít (the highest Slovak mountain), which is almost in sight from Svit. The last pair of the first round was the German NINERS Chemnitz Academy and SKM Zastal Zielona Góra . Chemnitz also had no mercy on Zastal and gave them a real beating.

Saturday was full of challenges with big differences in scores.

In the first match on Sunday morning, Chemnitz and Karlovka played each other, which entered the match better and built a slight lead in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Chemnitz woke up and turned the match in their favor by several points, in the third quarter they increased the lead to a double-digit difference. However, Karlovka does not give up and with great pressure they get close to the shooting range, but they fail to turn the tables and lose by a difference of seven points. They lost to Svit, which thus confirms the silver medal. And the tournament closes with the home team's duel with BC Gurjaani Delta . Despite the loss, the Georgian team plays its best game of the tournament.

Final tournament standings:

1.  NINERS Chemnitz Academy (Germany)

2. BKM Iskra Svit (Slovakia)

3. MBK Karlovka Bratislava (Slovakia)

4. AK Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski (Poland)

Ostrava wins the U15 home tournament

$rc->blogDescription

Ostrava wins the U15 home tournament

The last, 15th part of the regular season of the U15 category tournaments was hosted by Ostrava. A high-paced tournament and tough matches were expected, as four teams (Ostrava, Pardubice, Bratislava and Stargard) are fighting for qualification for the final tournament. However, everything turned out completely differently due to circumstances.

Early Friday morning offered the start of the tournament, where the home team challenged Science City Jena . Jena, who had arrived on Thursday, looked a bit sleepy and lost the match so heavily. In the second match, we had the opportunity to see a Polish duel between the teams Korona 1919 Krakow and PGE Spójnia Stargard . Stargard arrived as one of the favorites to win the tournament because after previous tournaments they could boast a balance of 9 - 1. Already entering the match, it indicated that something was happening, Stargard was losing from the beginning and Krakow seized the opportunity and built a slight lead. In the second half, Krakow completely broke away from the chain and demolished Stargard with a more than thirty-point difference. However, looking at the roster, it was confirmed that Stargard arrived at the tournament without its player leaders in this category. In the last match of the first round of the tournament, the Czech-Slovak derby took place between the teams BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice and BK Inter Bratislava . Beksa confirmed its role as the favorite and won with ease. The first surprise result occurred in the match between Krakow and Jena. Krakow, apparently satisfied with the win in the Polish derby, did not perform well, and Jena, excited by the defeat by Ostrava, fought with enthusiasm and overtook the Polish team like a steam locomotive.

Saturday could be called a black day for Jena, which lost twice by a single basket. How thin the line is between success and failure. First, they lost to Beksa, which was definitely happy to win, because at least the entire first half they were the worse team and, on top of that, they had a match record of 12-0 until this match, which they maintained with all their might. Jena lost the second match to Bratislava, which also arrived at the tournament with an incomplete squad, which does not reduce the performance or the credit of the players involved. The lead in the match was transferred from side to side throughout the match. However, the ending went better for Inter, who won by a single basket. There are even tears on the faces of Jena players, which I would not consider a weakness, but on the contrary, a manifestation of their love for basketball, where every loss is regrettable. So, my respect for this team, its play, performance and behavior throughout the tournament. In the last match of the day, Beksa played Krakow. Beksa gambled in the morning match with Jena and it was no different with Krakow. The first quarter was still balanced, then Krakow gained a significant advantage with its high-quality physical play. In the end, Beska managed to reach the difference of one three-point shot, but Krakow skillfully guarded the win. And another surprise is in the world, Beksa records its first defeat of the season.

On Sunday, Jena at least got some satisfaction with a big win over Stargard, who lost the chance to qualify for the final tournament. Krakow couldn't handle their match with Bratislava and is losing by a big margin. Despite this win, Inter probably lost the chance to participate in the final tournament. And finally, the match between Ostrava and Beksa. An even match was expected between two teams that already have a certain qualification for the final tournament. However, the opposite was true, Ostrava completely dominated the match and showed that they were well prepared for the tournament. We don't mention Ostrava much in the article, but they gave an almost flawless performance and deservedly won gold medals and a ticket to the final tournament, where we look forward to their performances.

Final tournament standings:

1.  Academy NH Ostrava (Czech Republic)

2. BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice (Czech Republic)

3. BK Inter Bratislava (Slovakia)

4. Korona 1919 Krakow (Poland)

5. Science City Jena (Germany)

6. PGE Spójnia Stargard (Poland)

The following players received individual awards:

MVP:

Ondřej Kičmer ( Academy NH Ostrava )

All-star team:

Adam Skoupil ( BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice )

Alex Milošević ( BK Inter Bratislava )

Witold Michnik ( Korona 1919 Krakow )

Ben Macholdt ( Science City Jena )

Jan Duniecki ( PGE Spójnia Stargard )

Top scorer of the tournament:

Jakub Ptáček ( Academy NH Ostrava ) - 103 points (20.6 points per game)

SKM Zastal Zielona Góra wins the U13 tournament

$rc->blogDescription

SKM Zastal Zielona Góra wins the U13 tournament

Ostrava was the substitute host of the ninth U13 tournament, taking over the organization after Handlová, which failed to organize the tournament and did not have much success in Ostrava either. The best performance was by the SKM Zastal Zielona Góra team, which dominated the tournament with a score of 5-0.

Early on Friday morning, the tournament began with a home team match, and Basketpoint arrived from nearby Frýdek-Místek. Basketpoint barely managed to put on their basketball shoes and was already losing the first quarter by more than twenty points. After that, they recovered a bit and after three quarters the score difference became acceptable. However, Ostrava, who were in a good mood, did not let the victory be taken away. Korona 1919 Krakow and SKM Zastal Zielona Góra were the lineups for the second match. Zastal set a high pace from the first quarter and took a comfortable win. The last pair of teams to introduce themselves were JBN boys and ŠBK Handlová . The first half was more about both teams getting to know the Ostrava board and did not bring too many points or excitement. In the third quarter, JBN gained a lead that they maintained until the end of the match.

The most interesting match on Saturday was Basketpoint's match with Zastalam. The Czech team put on a great performance, losing in the first quarter, but closing in on an acceptable lead at halftime, then slowing down in the third quarter, and in the last quarter Basketpoint put a lot of energy into the match and closed in on a few points. However, Zastalam eventually defended its victory.

On Sunday, Ostrava calmly defeats Krakow and confirms the silver medal win. He did not stop to pamper Handlová at all and on the way home he gave her a share of the difference in the score of more than sixty points and confirms the gold medal win without any problems. The match for the bronze medals between JBN boys and Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek brought great drama. Jbn entered the match with respect and lost the first quarter by a small margin. However, in the second and third quarters, the South Bohemian team set a great pace and turned the match in their favor. The last quarter was affected by a serious injury to a JBN player, who had to be taken to the hospital for surgery. The match was subsequently finished, but the JBN players probably did not think about basketball at all and despite their efforts to win a victory for their injured friend, they did not succeed.

In conclusion, I would like to wish JBN player Tiboru Onderušovi a speedy recovery and a smooth recovery, and I hope we will see him on the boards under the bottomless baskets soon.

Final tournament standings:

1.  SKM Zastal Zielona Góra (Poland)

2. Academy NH Ostrava (Czech Republic)

3. Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek (Czech Republic)

4. JBN boys (Czech Republic)

5. Korona 1919 Krakow (Poland)

6. ŠBK Handlová (Slovakia)

The following players received individual awards:

MVP:

Antoni Lenckosz ( SKM Zastal Zielona Góra )

All-star team:

Filip Horák ( Academy NH Ostrava )

Matyáš Rajnoch ( Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek )

Josef Šonka ( JBN boys )

Maksymilian Dudek ( Korona 1919 Krakow )

Lukáš Kúdela ( ŠBK Handlová )

Top scorer of the tournament:

 Tomáš Kamrád ( Academy NH Ostrava ) and Lukáš Kúdela ( ŠBK Handlová ) - 92 points (18.4 points per game)

PGE Spójnia Stargard wins the U14 tournament

$rc->blogDescription

PGE Spójnia Stargard wins the U14 tournament

Stargard wins the thirteenth U14 tournament hosted by Jelenia Góra. No team in this tournament put up much resistance to the winner, allowing him to fully utilize his entire rotation.

The tournament started with a duel between the home team and Beksa from Pardubice. Beksa was losing from the start and NBA had a fairly comfortable path to its first victory. The second match was played by Korona 1919 Krakow , who replaced the absent Handlová, and their opponent was a team from South Bohemia, Sršni Písek . The Hornets inflicted 115 stings on Krakow, and the Polish team found no answer to that and lost by a significant margin. NBA Jelenia Góra after a short rest, challenged the German team Thuringia Select Team and the match was extremely interesting. The German team started better, winning the first quarter. In the second quarter, the lead changed in favor of the home team and despite the great onslaught of the German team, they maintained their lead until the final horn. The last team to get involved was PGE Spójnia Stargard , who definitely did not spare Krakow and awarded it 147 points.

On Saturday, Beksa from Pardubice was in the lead, losing to Thuringií after a good start to the game. In the second game, they got their taste and took a win over Krakow in a start-finish style. The second team that tried to mix up the standings was also from the Czech Republic. The Hornets first showed a great performance against Stargard, when in the first half they were a balanced opponent, in the second half the quality of the Polish team was already evident and they won. The Hornets did not give their skin cheaply even in the duel with the German team Thuringia. Here they had a worse start to the game, but gradually the Hornets' stingers find their target and several times come close to a difference of only one basket in the score. In the end, however, their strength is not enough and in a limited rotation they lose the game.

On Sunday, the last match between the home team and Sršni Písek was no less interesting. A match that offered everything we can expect from basketball. Fighting spirit, twists and turns, successful shots in the last second, emotions, great performances by the players. The Hornets are already in a very tight rotation, resisting the enthusiasm of the home team, who want to win silver medals at the tournament. The match began with a real shooting explosion, what else can you call it, when a total of 56 points are scored in a quarter. The Hornets fight hard and even though they are resilient "animals", they are still a small step behind. In the end, they get a home victory and Sršní is left with an unpopular fourth place.

Final tournament standings:

1.  PGE Spójnia Stargard (Poland)

2. NBA Jelenia Góra (Poland)

3. Thuringia Select Team (Germany)

4. Sršni Písek (Czech Republic)

5. BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice (Czech Republic)

6. Korona 1919 Krakow (Poland)

The following players received individual awards:

MVP:

Jędrzej Szagdaj ( PGE Spójnia Stargard )

All-star team:

Jan Niespodziański ( PGE Spójnia Stargard )

Borys Piotrowski ( NBA Jelenia Góra )

Karl Altgassen ( Thuringia Select Team )

Jan Vybíral ( Sršni Písek )

Otto Polívka ( BK VIVIDBOOKS Pardubice )

Top scorer of the tournament:

Jan Niespodziański ( PGE Spójnia Stargard ) - 115 points (23.0 points per game)

BCM Olomouc wins the U15 tournament without hesitation

$rc->blogDescription

BCM Olomouc wins the U15 tournament without hesitation

Olomouc organized the fourteenth tournament in the U15 category at home. None of the teams came even close to scoring twenty points against Olomouc. So winning the gold medals was quite a comfortable affair for the home team.

The tournament had an unusual draw, thanks to which the teams joined the tournament gradually. The home team was initially challenged by the Polish team Górnik Airteam Walbrzych . Olomouc created a twenty-point lead in the first quarter and easily dominated the match. The second match between the Slovak team Slávia Trnava and AK Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski offered a dramatic course. Trnava led by a comfortable margin for three quarters, but Stal made an unprecedented turnaround in the last quarter and won by a margin of seven points. The first German team NINERS Chemnitz Academy participated in the third match of the day in a duel with the home team. Olomouc won by a significant margin. The last participant of the tournament Mitteldeutscher Basketball Academy also participated in the last match of Friday's program. They beat Trnava calmly, by a margin of more than twenty points.

Saturday offered two close games. The first was between MBA and Walbrzych. MBA still had a nine-point lead after the third quarter, only to lose by a single point in the final. The second game was played again by Walbrzych, and the opponent was Trnava, which entered the game actively, built a lead in the first quarter, which it gradually lost and eventually lost by a four-point difference. Walbrzych won the silver medals thanks to the victory in these two close games.

Sunday brought no major dramas and the medal favorites confirmed their position.

Final tournament standings:

1.  BCM Olomouc (Czech Republic)

2. Górnik Airteam Walbrzych (Poland)

Zielona Góra won the U14 tournament in Litoměřice

$rc->blogDescription

Zielona Góra won the U14 tournament in Litoměřice

The twelfth U14 tournament in Litoměřice offered great quality. The victory was won by the SKM Zastal Zielona Góra team, which had to fight hard for the gold medals, for example, winning by one point over Ostrava, four points over Opava, and winning by one point over Litoměřice in the second overtime.

A tournament where anyone could beat anyone. The first round started with the home team and Mitteldeutscher Basketball Academy . The home team was hot and gained a solid lead in the first quarter. MBA improved its defense, but Litoměřice are still successful and winning. The second match offered a Polish derby between the teams BC Swiss Krono Žary and SKM Zastal Zielona Góra . This was the only match for Zastal where they won a comfortable win by a higher margin. The third match of the day offered a Czech and even regional derby between BK Opava and Academy NH Ostrava . Ostrava did not enter the match in a good mood and were pulling the short end of the rope throughout the first half. The half-time speech in the locker room was apparently emphatic, so a double-digit loss eventually turned into a nine-point win. In the afternoon block, Litoměřice hesitated with Žary, which ultimately cost them a medal. The final match of the day offered a real drama that was decided only by overtime. Zastal lost the entire first half slightly, only to put all their energy into the second half, but that was enough to "draw" with Opava after the regular playing time. Opava was shaken by Zastal's equalizer and eventually lost by a difference of 4 points.

All Saturday's matches ended with a difference of around ten points, so they were very even and several times the final score was decisive. The most talked about game was probably the match between Ostrava and Zastal, where the winning shot by Zastal with the final horn was the deciding factor. There was a lot of talk about the referees, whose decisions significantly affect the course of the match. Everyone should judge for themselves, for example by watching the matches on our YouTube channel.

Sunday offered another interesting match. Ostrava satisfied their appetite with a big win over Žary. Opava, which could almost have won over Zastal, chose a weaker moment and let MBA beat them, which had been improving its performance throughout the tournament. And the real highlight was the match between Litoměřice and Zastal, where the decision was made only in the second overtime. There is not much to say about such a match, it is better to watch it at least from the recording. In any case, Zastal could have played relaxed. Even a possible loss would not have knocked them out of first place in the tournament, but Litoměřice are playing for everything, as only a win will secure them the bronze medals. But in summary, a great atmosphere, great performances by both teams, great performances by individual players, euphoria and disappointment. It is truly a pleasure to be present at such a match.

Final tournament standings:

1.  SKM Zastal Zielona Góra (Poland)

2. Academy NH Ostrava (Czech Republic)

3. BC Swiss Krono Žary (Poland)

4. Slavoj BK Litoměřice (Czech Republic)

5. Mitteldeutscher Basketball Academy (Germany)

6. BK Opava (Czech Republic)

The following players received individual awards:

MVP:

Kacper Radczyc ( SKM Zastal Zielona Góra )

All-star team:

Jakub Ostapiuk ( SKM Zastal Zielona Góra )

Karel Novák ( Academy NH Ostrava )

Filip Wilk ( BC Swiss Krono Žary )

Jan Mašek ( Slavoj BK Litoměřice )

Felipe Felgner Estrella ( Mitteldeutscher Basketball Academy )

Ondřej Gronský (BK Opava)

Top scorer of the tournament:

Filip Wilk ( BC Swiss Krono Žary ) - 113 points (22.6 points per game)

WKK Wroclaw wins the U14 tournament

$rc->blogDescription

WKK Wroclaw wins the U14 tournament

WKK Wroclaw wins gold medals in the eleventh U14 tournament at home in a start-finish manner. Our guest from Ukraine, SCC Ploskyriv, came in second place, and Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek closed the medal standings.

Friday's opening match of the tournament immediately offered a great duel between the home team and the Ukrainian SCC Ploskyriv . The Ukrainian team stayed within striking distance throughout the first half, the decisive one was the third quarter, where WKK gained a double-digit lead, which it maintained until the end of the match. The second match was started by Basketpoint Frýdek-Místek , which challenged the Polish team AK Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski . Basketpoint entered the match actively and held a strong lead until the third quarter, Stal made a great effort and called the game. In the dramatic ending, Basketpoint is happy with the win, by only two points. The last match of the first round was the duel between the German team Freak City Bamberg and BCM Olomouc . Olomouc dominated the first half, but gave up only 17 points in the second. On the contrary, Bamberg scored 37 of them and thanks to that they won easily. Bamberg played a major role in the match against the Polish Stal, where they "sweated" the victory by a single point.

Saturday was a quiet day, with the favorites guarding their positions, but that shouldn't happen at the Bamberg tournament. The German team wanted to play with Basketpoint this time. The latter took control of the game for three quarters, and in the end, they took control and defeated Bamberg by seven points.

Sunday brought no surprises and the favorites confirmed their medal ambitions. The tournament was made special by the visit of the Polish influencer "Zibi", who brought interesting experiences and a pleasant atmosphere to the players.

Warriors Děčín win the U15 home tournament

$rc->blogDescription

Warriors Děčín win the U15 home tournament

The Warriors are winning the thirteenth tournament of the U15 category quite comfortably, Děčín's biggest opponents came from Brandýs nad Labem and Žary in Poland. The tournament also offered several great individual performances by players that definitely surpass this category, as well as one really interesting story.

The first interesting thing about the tournament was the draw, which coincidentally consisted of three derbies - one Czech, one Polish and finally German. The tournament started with a match between the home team Děčín and Brandýs nad Labem. The warriors entered the match very actively, scoring thirty points in the first quarter and creating a double-digit lead. Brandýs matched the initial pressure and bravely caught up, but despite their great efforts, they lost by a difference of ten points. The Polish derby between SKM Zastal Zielona Góra and BC Swiss Krono Žary was clearly dominated by the latter team. The German derby also had a clear course, the Academy Potsdam team did not put up much resistance to the HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim team and lost by a large margin. The match was even with the duel between Brandýs and the magicians from Crailsheimu . Brandýs again had a bad start to the match, fought again and this time lost by a difference of five points, this loss cost Brandýs' team the bronze medal in the later calculations.

Saturday's program began with a duel between the home team and the magicians. This duel offered an interesting story, as one of the leaders of Děčín, Jan "Kopi" Kopecký, started in the CEYBL tournaments for the HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim team in the previous season. Now he started for his home team /originally a protégé of BK Teplice - also a CEYBL participant/ and did not spare his friends from Crailsheimu at all and burdened their account with thirty-five points. The match offered a total of 199 points, so the offensive potential of both teams was huge. The home team had the better aim and takes a comfortable win. A balanced match was played between Brandýs and Zastal, this time Brandýs overslept in the first quarter as usual, but then pressed on and took the win by a difference of eight points.

On Sunday, the magicians from Crailsheimu , who apparently worked their magic until late at night, enter the match with Zastal in a vague way. They lose the entire first half. At halftime, the coach apparently taught them the Imperio spell (a spell that forces your opponent to do whatever you tell them to do) - an explanation for "non-fans" of Harry Potter :-) and in the end, they confirm their bronze medal win by two points. The big win over Potsdam did not help Brandýs win the medals, but it certainly at least improved their mood for the trip home. The tournament ended with an imaginary final between Děčín and Žary. The warriors have had a slight lead since the beginning of the match, which Žary is trying to get closer to, but in the end they fail and Děčín wins the gold medals, while Žary is left with the silver medals.

The tournament also offered several interesting individual shooting performances. Three players surpass the hundred-point mark, which is an average of more than twenty points per game. Finally, back to "Kopim", who although he only played in two games, managed to average 32 points per game. Admirable performances from all in this category.

Final tournament standings:

1.  Válečníci Děčín (Czech Republic)

2. BC Swiss Krono Žary (Poland)

3. HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim (Germany)

4. BK Brandýs nad Labem (Czech Republic)
